Spartanburg Downtown Association Mission Statement
The Spartanburg Downtown Association is a community-based organization that plans, markets, and advocates for Downtown Spartanburg.
The association’s goal is to be a guiding force for positive growth and improvement of the downtown area by providing leadership, and marketing downtown as the dynamic center of commerce in the Greater Spartanburg community.
SDA performs services directly related to downtown development, such as promotion and advertising, business retention and recruitment, and planning and problem solving among downtown residents, businesses, property owners, employees, and community leaders.
The Spartanburg Downtown Association acts as an advocate and information source for its members on issues such as special events, parking, garbage collection, security, etc. Our members are downtown property owners, business owners, residents and patrons. Members receive free and reduced cost advertising both individually and collectively in the association’s marketing campaigns, the SDA weekly E-news, print media and on the SDA website. Members network at bi-monthly meetings and socials with other downtown stakeholders.

Membership Dues Schedule
Business – 5 or less employees $120 per year
Business – 6 to 19 employees $240 per year
Business – 20+ employees $600 – $750 per year
Individual Membership $60 per year
Non-Profit – 5 or less employees $60 per year
