WeddingWire is the nation’s leading online wedding marketplace and the world’s largest wedding review site with over one million reviews. The esteemed annual awards program recognizes the top five percent of wedding professionals nationwide in the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism. Located one mile from Downtown Spartanburg, the Duncan Estate is a picturesque venue for any special occasion. The beautifully restored historic Duncan Estate and scenic four acres create enchanting sites for a variety of events: Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions, Rehearsal Dinners, Engagement & Anniversary Parties, Corporate Functions & Charity Fundraisers, Religious Celebrations, and Birthday & Holiday Parties.
The Duncan Estate has hosted over 120 weddings since April 2008, can accommodate groups as large as 200 guests, and their open vendor policy allows clients to create a truly customized event.
The Duncan Estate has also been the backdrop of Portrait Photography and Commercial Photography & Filming, including a TV show episode (Southern Fried Stings, truTV), a TV commercial (The Castle Prom & Bridal), two catalog photography shoots (Greenleaf Gifts), and hundreds of bridal/family/holiday portrait sessions.
The Duncan Estate is owned and managed by Danielle Eisner, who also calls the grand house “home”. Danielle moved to Spartanburg in 2006 from Brooklyn, NY and in 2007 purchased the historic house in the Duncan Park area of Spartanburg – making her only the sixth owner in the 120-year-history of this house. She opened the Duncan Estate with the background of a successful 9-year event marketing career, with experience managing promotional activities at events ranging from Nascar to concerts to festivals to retail grand openings to country club fashion shows.
In addition to Danielle’s membership in Spartanburg Downtown Association since 2009, she is also involved in other organizations in Spartanburg. A member of Business & Professional Women since 2010, she was awarded “South Carolina Young Careerist 2012” and is board member of the Breakfast BPW of Spartanburg chapter. The Duncan Estate was recognized as an “Economic Champion” by the Spartanburg Chamber of Commerce in 2010, and Danielle was recognized as a “Young Entrepreneur of Upstate South Carolina” by Belle Magazine in 2009. Danielle has been a member of Spartanburg Young Professionals since 2009, and is currently a provisional member of Junior League of Spartanburg. Danielle is also on multiple committees for Spartanburg nonprofit organizations.
