Hospice Care of South Carolina is an independently operated hospice program dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate care to individuals living with incurable diseases.
One of our primary objectives is to allow our patients the opportunity to remain in their homes or in a homelike setting for as long as they are able. We have contractual agreements with many hospitals, nursing long-term care facilities, adult living facilities and hospice home facilities thoughout our service areas when living at home is not possible.
Hospice Care of South Carolina was formed in May 1997. Our first office was located in Spartanburg. Since our inception we have opened offices across the state and now have 25 locations providing services to all residents of South Carolina. We are licensed by the state of South Carolina and certified by Medicare and Medicaid to participate in their respective programs.
Hospice Care of South Carolina is comprised of a team of competent compassionate professionals who are dedicated to helping those who are living with an incurable disease. Our team is led by Dawn Michelle Teachey who serves as CEO for the organization. We are available to discuss our program, our mission, and our purpose at any time.
We are here to serve, support, comfort and care.
